Kevin has been in the industry for well over 30 years, working in many areas for national and independents agents alike. When his wife said “We should open our own company” he could not think of any reason why not and since then has not looked back. That was in 2002 and since then the business has gone from strength to strength. We have only been able to do this by offering customers what they want and frankly deserve, I mean a competitively price quality service. Kevin spends most of his time running the business but is never happier than when he is dealing with new customers.

Opening Steps in 2002 was a long time ambition after having worked for corporate agents for many years. Being able to give a personal service to our vendors and then seeing the results by way of handing keys to the new owners of property’s is a fantastic achievement and still gives me great satisfaction even after over 20 years in the industry and I look forward to many more years helping people realize their dreams…

The best part of my job is when I get to hand over the keys to someone who has just purchased their new home and I am a firm believer that a property must be presented in the best possible light to attract buyers. Peter brings over 40 years of experience in the industry, having worked across the Essex and East London areas. He began his career as a trainee in the early 1980s and steadily progressed into senior management roles. For the past five years, Peter has been a valued member of the Steps team, contributing a wealth of knowledge and insight (and yes—he proudly holds the title of the team’s most experienced member!). Outside of work, Peter is an avid cyclist, clocking up around 50 miles each week. Living near Epping Forest, he enjoys regular walks with his much-loved dog, Taco.
